Welsh Ditty
There is a tavern in the town
But no one knows its name
We're fairly sure that it's a noun
Recalling ancient fame
Dispensing with the Mother Tongue
In favour of Old Norse
Means all the ballads we once sung
Sound guttural and coarse
(Unless you're Norse, of course!)
