Departures In Disarray
Sophistry, for those who wait,
Obliges us to ask
The quantum moment of a weight
That's flung into the brook in spate
No ordinary task!
For science, in its blindfold dark
Disdains our petty laws
Small wonder, when we miss the mark
The universe seems drear and stark
And heedless of our cause
Yet Speculation holds the key
That will unlock the stars
And so shine forth, to you and me,
And launch us on a mystic spree
Beyond restraining bars
