The Spoonbill Generator

Meringue-laden Exclamations

At this time, most every day,       [Apsley ]

I hide my neighbour's face, and pray       [Roland ]

That I might love her, less and less,       [Apsley ]

To mask my own unhappiness       [Roland ]

Every day I grow more weak       [Beefy ]

As in my neighbour's face I seek       [Roland ]

Less and less a cup and spoon       [Apsley ]

More and more the sun and moon       [Roland ]

Every night I look to find       [Beefy ]

The mighty untruths hid behind       [Roland ]

The earnest longing of her smile       [Beefy ]

And that she might stay awhile       [Apsley ]

Thus my pity, thus my plight       [Roland ]

To live within her lovely sight,       [Apsley ]

Not blind to all that cannot to be       [Roland ]

Yet hoping to end happily       [Apsley ]
