Syllabub Proverbs
The lumps one sometimes finds in cream
Are almost never what they seem
You need to be supremely rash
To live inside a calabash
When April slakes the doughts of June
It's time to soap and rinse and croon
When January makes you yell
Don't ever disregard the smell
The lamps one hopes to find at home
Are never where you left your comb
Your socks abound, yet none will match
The colour-scheme of rotting thatch
You dust, you sneeze, you dust again
Housekeeping does resemble Zen
The common hellebore, or bream,
Is often found as lumps in cream
