Oftentimes Manet Tried Somersaulting Over Renoir
Lanky Hank was the tallest of Sherpas
With a monocle and a bad hairpiece
He liked to punch yetis
With conjunctivitis
But especially yetis with herpes
The man who invented the mouse
Was extremely fond of his booze
He'd stagger and weave
While waving a sieve
Then offer some feeble excuse
Bad rhyming itself is an art
Hold your nose, grit your teeth - still it jars
Each line must be lousy
Each sentiment rosy
Of poesy you've got not a shard
