Only Once Is More Than Twice Times Two
Give me the pen and invisible ink, and I'll write my life story for you
It won't take me nearly as long as you think, and I've got nothing better to do
If I were old, let's say forescore and ten, it would maybe require half a page
But to sum up my life until now from back then is a snip for a man of my age
The poultry I ate is what made me, at six, more a man than most men of sixteen
& soon I was up to the species of tricks that put rather a strain on the spleen
From then until now is a bit of a blur, but I seem to recall sundry bars
I'm not really known as a drink connoisseur, but I do like to sink a few jars
Envoi
Every newbie values ongoing intoxication
