The Birdbath Embargo
Here in Munich's age-old centre
Michael holds his sway
Because he's not just any renter
Bound to human pay
Instead, good Michael earns his haunt
In ways you wouldn't guess
And though he now looks rather gaunt
He need not convalesce
He need not live a human span
Nor walk the human mile
Nor undergo a renal scan
or carry a huge pile
For tourists love a haunted house
As Michael loves a mark
The ads say "Ghost of Michael Kraus...
Encountered in the dark ..."
Here in Munich's age-old hub
Michael, silhouetted
In the entrabce to the pub,
Leave no taste unwhetted
Let he who dares ask Michael this:
Is Darkness really Black?
Be first to go upon the piss
And last to make it back
And thus from Michael we must part now
The cut worm forgives the plow
