I Won't Be Flying Anywhere Near Basildon
There's time enough for changing sides
There's time enough for tea
There's time to do as bowel decides
There's time to go to sea
But if you cannot break your fast
And eat some jam and brie
You'll know the time has come at last
To spread your wings with me
There's time enough for building walls
There's time enough for grins
There's time for screaming caterwauls
There's time for smiling sins
But if you cannot quell the urge
To drown yourself with gins
You'll be the star of a funeral dirge
Or cushion for voodoo pins
