The Shown Tear Of A Cloudbuster
I'd rest, if I could, but a holiday's on
And I still haven't finished my shopping
I'm starting to look a bit haggard and wan,
Some uppers I think I'll be popping
I'll dash helter-skelter, run hither and yon
While uttering choice profanities
And swear once again that I'll build a great bon-
Fire of the vanities
I'd cry, if I could, but my family's here
And I don't want to make them feel crappy
The fighting will start any second, I fear,
But I'd want everyone to be happy.
I'll get a huge migraine, retreat to my room
With the bottle of leftover brandy
And swear once again that I'll build a great tomb-
