Erie Canal
The creek oozes down through the dimwitted wood
Where the trees are as dumb as a stump
It pools in dull puddles that do little good
For the kids down the hill from the dump
The squirrels tell the chipmunks they can teach them to fly
For a fee that, to 'munks, is chump change
The woodpecker warns, "You'd better not try"
"Their harness is riddled with mange"
