Nostalgia for Breakfast - And Blue Sky
I wish I were in Ngunnawal again
In the Valley of the Thousand Kangaroos
Where road signs whisper gently "Form One Lane"
And Bogong Moths rest in the rocky grooves
I miss the white-tail spider in the bath
And lyrebirds' calls when walking forest paths
Or waking to an urban magpie's song;
A year's too much: I've been away too long.
