Subtle, Said the Maggots
Spent moons bestrew th'empyrean
Where swains besmirch their valour
A welkin of delirium
Painted o'er with valium
To camouflage their pallor
This rhyme is but a play on words
Where fools betray their ardour
In search of kisses and champagne
And some trick to remove the stain
That once was made by passing birds
