Midsummer Fails Everyone
Mellow jazz oozes from the speakers
The brain winds down and and muscles relax,
Sousa Sam in his high-heeled sneakers
Mellow notes flowing from the golden sax,
A golden day at the end of the summer
With just a hint of evening breeze
And nothing else that could be dumber
Than getting uptight 'stead of taking your ease
