One More Landscape
To renovate the galaxy
A noble aim, indeed!
A fitting task for such as we
Who deign to intercede
And close the faucets of the sea
While Neptune deigns to bleed.
And if the sea should soon run dry
(A likely tale, pardee)
We'll fill it from the bulging sky
Whence albatrosses flee
And godlike then we'll liquefy
All tomes of poetry.
